We are leadership for social change practitioners

We’re a group of advocates, storytellers, social scientists, strategists and big thinkers. Bluerock Social Impact Partners is a social impact advisory helping people, organizations, and collectives to grow change movements for a more equitable, just, and habitable world.

We are on a mission to build the capacity of people and organizations doing social purpose, impact, transformation work. We reimagine, restore and redesign initiatives that make our society better.

Our Values

Curiosity

Deferring judgment to learn, we respectfully ask great questions and pursue a deeper sense of what is good and true and beautiful in others and in the things they are creating.

Creativity

For us, creativity is about putting the collective imagination to work in ways that express who we are and who we hope to be.

Courage

Integrity is courage over comfort. Illuminating the things that need to be seen, respectfully saying the things that need to be said because we are committed to walking alongside each other.

Diversity

Because diversity of thought and diversity of practice accelerates learning and demographic diversity strengthens legitimacy.

Compassion

We take wholeness seriously and so the work of integrating our lives and stories into a sense of coherence is a key practice.

Humility

Because no individual (or individual organization) can achieve sustained positive change in a complex system by themselves.

Our Commitments

We work with organizations that have made commitments to care for the land, build equitable and relational solutions to tough problems and stand for non-violence.

Restorative Practices

The Bluerock Project exists to enable movements to build relational, restorative and regenerative cultures. We’re here to build community and invest in people to create a more open, just and habitable world.

Reconciliation

We acknowledge that Indigenous peoples have suffered under colonial  and postcolonial policies. We believe that to work respectfully with Indigenous nations, we need to be aware of the impact  that intergenerational trauma continues to have on Indigenous children, youth, and families. We work to learn and understand our shared  history in a way that moves us towards a stronger and healthier future, with relationships rooted in mutual understanding and respect.

Equity & Anti-Violence

The Bluerock Project exists to enable movements to build relational, restorative and regenerative cultures. We’re here to build community and invest in people to create a more open, just and habitable world.

Land Care

As a 1% for the Planet member, the Bluerock Project contributes 1-2% of our total revenue to organizations we believe in and whose values match ours. We also contribute through pro bono services, and volunteering in the community. These are some of the organizations we contributed to in the last number of years.
