Prevention through Investment in Men’s Mental & Relational Well-Being

Men & is a collaborative of individuals, professionals and organizations supporting mens relational and mental wellbeing. It all started 6 years ago with an action inquiry project to understand how to better engage men to support their mental and relational health and reduce violence in their families and communities. In 2021 Men & Launched with a vision of a future where boys & men’s emotional, mental, and relational wellbeing is bravely supported. Our mission is to transform communities by promoting healthy, respectful manhood, and connecting men to the information and support they need to heal, grow and cause less harm to themselves and others

Men & Advisory Groups

As part of the Men & movement, the Bluerock Project is supporting an expanding (Alberta) province wide network of resources and supports for men searching for tools, resources and supports so they can be better for themselves, their kids and their families. If you are a professional or represent an agency working in this space, we’d love to talk to you about being involved in our advisory groups. Advisory groups meet several times a year to review and generate new and culturally relevant content ideas, consult on developing our understanding and practices around engaging men in helpful and healthy ways.

The Men & Community of Inquiry and Practice

Everything we do falls into a pattern of awareness, inquiry and action. This is a practice we keep relentlessly and share deeply with our partners. In keeping with this style and approach we are hosting a growing community of inquiry and practices to dig into what works, what doesn’t and how we need to think differently about men’s mental, relational, and emotional well being -so that we can transform ourselves, our lives and our communities. Together.
